Content matters, and here the content is on par with the functionality of the app. Luckily so, since flickr is one of the important photo sharing platforms. Would I recommend it? Definitely!

We use this app for photo sharing, its a wonderful way to keep in touch with family and friends.

Flickr is easy to use. Works well. And makes it easy to share photos and videos with others.

There’s finally an app as cool as Flickr deserves, with an interface as clever as it is fast. I love it. Only thing I miss: in the earliest version of the new app, it was possible to individually edit each photo in a multi-photo upload. I really, really miss that. Otherwise, this app keeps getting better!

This is an OK app. Its main advantage is that it offers to store your photos in full-resolution and offers 1TB storage. But the upload speeds are slow, very slow, atrociously slow. It takes many days to upload videos (up to 1min length each).

Only good for auto upload. Have to drag out the desktop to add tags and other edits Update: much improved.

Flickrs hashtags work well... something Instagram hasnt offered help with. Thank you, Flickr!

I have years worth of photos backed up here. I appreciate the levels of privacy. I find the auto uploader works well.

I use this site a lot. The only complaint I really have is that you cant read group discussions on the app. Therefore I cant get the Weeks theme for some groups I belong to.

I cant say enough good things about Flickr

Suddenly stopped allowing me to download my photos to my phone. Please fix. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled three times. iPhone 6

Crashes half the time you want to use it. Trying to upload? Nope! Its going to crash! Want to look at the photos you have? Nope! Its Slow to load your photos if it does at all, want to see your notifications? Too bad! They wont load either. Not sure why there are so many 5 star ratings, have these people used the app?

ive had flickr for a long, long time. i havent wanted to use it or buy a pro account in YEARS, and i wish that would change. id rather pay and support a company than for it to just sell out. i will say, that i really miss the old interface, and i wish for more improvements towards what didnt need fixing in the first place. i really hope you can pick up for people that loved both old flickr and old instagram (since clearly that doesnt exist anymore). id love to see more people using this... hopefully for what its for. having talent booming, no spammy meme quote nonsense and being ad-free is important to us! if it was just a LITTLE bit more social media friendly, id totally jump ship on instagram and pay for this every year again. keep up the good work!!!

I rarely use the desktop version anymore. The only thing Id like to see is something like the web "organizr" and better geotagging.
