Thanks for the great app!
Thanks for the great app!
Very frustrating if you have an iPhone with many glitches- that just dont get fixed. Somewhat complicated features compared to other photo apps. Groups are designed by members so they make the rules up in any way they wish - not sure what role the developers have in this.
Flickr is a photographers paradise. Have been using it for years and still love it.
I love the 1 terabyte of free storage and huge file size uploading. It is perfect to preserve my collection and organize it how I like. This is is the site for image connoisseurs.
The app is super simple to set up and easy to share with your friends and family. Highly recommend!
Gets the job done. Doesnt support videos. But if you have Flickr then this is the app you need.
If you are looking for high quality images and creative ideas Flickr is the place to go to get inspiration. Easy to use and you dont loose image quality. The best photography app.
Ive used the Flickr app for years. The older version was much more clunky than the recent releases. In fact, in the past I have relied upon 3rd party apps instead out of frustration with the companys own app. The recent versions, however, are much better. They have integrated it well with social media, make it easy to see and comment on those I follow, and allow me to manage my own work with ease. All in all, I find myself actually USING the new version of this app. Kudos to their development team.
Update the app is almost unusable with slow load for all functions. Previously I found editing to be great and the tools are sophisticated. Lots of other well thought out options for sharing, editing, groups, albums, tags, exif, etc.
Of all the photo share options Ive tried, Flickrs been the best, most stable and reliable.
Flickr is just a great app! I have been using it for many years and love that the developers have continued to improve it. The main strong points are that pictures are easy to upload, organize, and share. You can further edit your pics after uploading as well or interface it with Adobe Lightroom and synch it with the Lightrooms library.
I only wish bulk upload options were better developed
With 1TB of free storage for the non-commercial use, mostly friendly UI and ability to share its mostly unbeatable. As a way to improve I might suggest to make an extra step towards lifting non-commercial use restriction for an extra reasonable fee. Another improvement might be keeping the original filename upon downloading. This alone would make Flickr indispensable as a back up storage. Hopefully it keeps staying in business for long while.
Its a very useful app. I would definitely recommend it.
Simple and complete!
Best photo Community ever
DO NOT USE FLICKR! If you are a good and serious photographer and get too many followers they will close your account. I had over 8600 followers, thousands of photos uploaded, and 2 successful groups with thousands of members. I was also a member of thousands of groups. I worked hard on my account for 3 years. One day they deleted my account, and gave me no reason for it!. Gone. Nothing. All my photos gone. Groups gone. No account, and no reason whatsoever from Flickr. Not a peep as to why. My name on there was Iron Lee. One of the most popular members. Stay away from Yahoo / Flickr at all costs. They will soon go bankrupt anyway.
No stats pane, computer only. Developers, please add stats! Lags in updating information. Unstable work, currently unable to enter profile even though internet connection is ok. Writing this comment for the second time as for the first time everything deleted due to incorrect user name which also seems strange
One of the best Photo Hosting/Sharing around. Very nice and intuitive UI, easy to use and lot of ways to share your work.
Love exploring Flickr and being inspired by photography.
