Best photo sharing app.

The application is really intuitive and looking through my feed is simple and the pictures looks fantastic on it.

Extremely pleased. Desktop and mobile versions work super! updates have very much improved this! love it, works perfectly - straight forward features are just enough. not at all complex. same for settings- love the views -

Browsing photos by location or tags is a beautiful, relaxing experience. This is my favorite app. Im getting to "know" others that love photography (pros or not). The groups are pretty cool too. I enjoy historical collections too. Its neat seeing how places or activities look now vs the past! Searches show my own first and then other peoples. Yahoo tagging is pretty good so its less work unless I want to be very specific. (Like latin plant names, right?!) Its easy finding my old photos for creating memes, birthday greetings, etc. I really appreciate backing up important photos since my hard drive died last year too!!

So Ive used the app for the longest times and I want to download/save a video from about 3 yrs ago to my phone and it wont let me. It kept saying "We couldnt save this photo. Please try again." This happened to a few different videos. Ive tried numerous methods such as deleting the app and reinstalling and go no avail. Im a little disappointed because those videos are sentimental. Until that is resolve, Im a little sad to give the Flickr app a 1 star.

User friendly

I just wondered if Flickr can store Live Photos those uploaded from iPhone ! Everything else works well already.

Now absolutely nothing works. Cant even get the front page Or notifications to Load. Giving up and deleting.

Cant be any happier ....I have been using Flickr for over six years and I really cant be happier...since then , all my shootings have been uploaded and properly organized in there by album name which I can easily share with any person that I want by sending him a link Via WhatsApp or email or message or anything..... The app is super fast also , pics load sooo fast like making you think the pics are loaded on to your own phone and not on the Flickr cloud! Furthermore, The pic shooting details are also there, keeping you informed about the camera and lens type and settings you had when you took your pics. The auto-uploader feature is also unreal and super super fast , keeping your phone pics and videos in full sync with your Flickr cloud account. In addition , whenever I show my friends or the friends of my friends the features and the functionality of this app, how smooth and responsive, along with the super GENEROSITY (1 terabyte of free storage) , they would immediately download and get it installed and start using it ! It even gave a few of them a motive to purchase their first DSLR and start uploading their pics and syncing their phones with Flickr. To conclude , I believe Flickr is the world best app ever created and the same goes for their website. All my respect , love and admiration go to your, Flickr team. I love Flickr. Ive not always loved the changes theyve made over the years but this app is a positive one! Highly recommend.

I have tried several times to upload 20+ photos at once, it locks up. I have had to delete and re-install several times.

Update: Changing to 5 stars, previous low rate was due to a misunderstanding, so the "whats bad" section no longer valid. The problem for videos and some pictures not uploading to Flickr on my iPhone was that the photo privacy in the app settings was set to "restricted", thinking it had to do with the privacy of my photos, so I set them on "restricted" so nobody can see them. My fault! Great app? Whats Good: 1tb of free storage, which is more than enough to store a lifetime of photos. Im only using this app to store my photos, Im not following anyone, Im not sharing any photos. My favorite feature is the default album where all new photos are uploaded, so you can see what pictures arent part of an album you created. Whats Bad: it doesnt upload videos from my camera roll at all, and the photos are not consistently uploaded, its constantly missing some of them. I dont know what to do, the other day, I was checking the app for a subscription that lets you upload videos, but theres nothing that can be fixed. My videos arent long, some of them are only a few seconds long, not even a minute, and the uploadr keeps trying for days, for months with no success. Everything seems alright in the settings, i use our residential optimum wifi for uploading (which works just fine); I dont know whats the problem.
