Ive used Flickr for a long time, so long Im not sure when I started (over 10 years ago?). Ive consistently had an awesome experience from the "old days" of desktop computers to the here and now with phones. I love to look back at my albums or just my photo stream. Its like all my happy memories in one place. My favorite newish feature is auto sync with my photos on my phone. Saves tons of time having to upload, just does it for me and keeps them private until Im ready to set them up otherwise. And this ensures my pics dont go by the wayside if my phone died (still kicking myself for pics I lost a few years ago when that happened...totally my fault). I also like the easy connection to Shutterfly if I want to print some (yes Im still old school and put together physical photo albums on occasion ?).
One thing I wish Flickr offered is bulk download of pictures. Flickr is the main place, usually the only place I store photos and Ive been thinking I should have a backup strategy. But with thousands of photos now there it seems an insurmountable task. Maybe this is something Flickr could offer with a Pro account?
But really I LOVE this app..and the website too although 99% of the time Im using the App. Flickr app brings me joy and makes it easy to to capture and keep my memories.
This is the first lengthy review Ive written, and I promise its from a real person - nobodys paying me to be such a fan / salesperson for this app. I just sincerely love it that much.
